2020 NFL Draft War Room: New England Patriots

Don’t ask me what the hell the Patriots are doing right now. Losing Tom Brady didn’t matter. It’s the fact that they replaced him with Brian Hoyer and Jarrett Stidham. I’m not sure they’re even worth talking about but here we go. As the 2020 NFL Draft gets closer, what will the Patriots do? We dive into New England’s war room!

The Patriots have 12 draft picks. The downside is 7 of them are in the 6th and 7th round. No second round pick because of the Mohamed Sanu trade. Talk about wanting a redo. The good news is they have 3 picks in the 3rd round that can possibly define their draft. Also bad news, Belichick hasn’t had a good draft in years.

The Patriots roster is so bad. Seriously, check out this roster. Bill Belichick is a miracle worker. What he should do is get on the phone with his buddy Matt Patricia. Call up the Lions give up picks and draft Tua. Figure it out and say he owes you one for getting him the job.

In seriousness, the Patriots can go a number of directions. Belichick hasn’t had a good draft in 5 years and I think I have his kind of guy pegged. Not talented but talented enough to make you think he knows something nobody else does. Let’s revisit this post after the draft and see how many of these guys the Patriots pick.
