The 2020 NFL Draft War Room series is finally coming to a close. We cap off the series with the Cincinnati Bengals who hold the first pick in the draft. We already know Joe Burrow is coming, but we still need to dive into the rest of the Bengals draft. Of course, the Bengals have 7 picks in the draft straight down the middle because they are too chicken shit to trade. Let’s get right to it. One last time, here is your Bengals 2020 NFL Draft war room post!
The Bengals are going to draft Joe Burrow? We get it. Do I really need to break it down further? Burrow is the pick. Let’s keep it moving.
In the second round, I bet the Bengals would love if Patrick Queen fell in their lap. It would give Burrow a former LSU teammate. Linebacker is the biggest area of need on this team. Right now you’re working with Jordan Evans, Germaine Pratt, and Torry McTyer. I kid you not, those are the projected starters. Queen would give Cincinnati a leader on defense that they need. I think it’s possible he falls to 33.
In the third round, you have to start looking for tackles. Isaiah Wilson should be on the radar. Jonah Williams takes care of the left side. Wilson will be a good right tackle. I have a feeling this is more of a 2nd round pick, but this is the type of player the Bengals need to look for. Bobby Hart isn’t cutting it. Wilson was a productive player for Georgia last year.
Finally, let’s cap it off with Thaddeus Moss in the third round. Tyler Eifert is finally gone and Cincinnati does not have a promising tight end on the roster. Thad Moss makes a lot of sense. Another LSU teammate who Burrow has worked with in the past. I’ll take a chance on Randy Moss’ son. I don’t care who it is.
