2020 NFL Draft War Room: Chicago Bears

2020 NFL Draft
Hey Bear fans, I am your daddy. I knew your shitty future was coming. Let’s get this over with. Here is the Bears 2020 NFL Draft war room. (Chris Walker/Chicago Tribune)

The Chicago Bears shot themselves in the foot and it’s hilarious to watch each and every Sunday. They were the one team that shouldn’t have traded for Khalil Mack. The reason is because they never had a quarterback which is exactly what I thought was going to happen. Now Chicago enters the 2020 NFL Draft in no man’s land. A QB room of Mitch Trubisky and Nick Foles to go with no first round pick to go along with a defense good enough to make sure they won’t ever get a good enough pick. The worst place to be in the NFL. The best part is I have evidence I’m smarter than Ryan Pace and god that feels great. Let’s get this shit show over with. Let’s enter the Bears 2020 NFL Draft War Room.

The Bears have 8 picks. No picks in the first or third round. Let’s focus on pick 43 and 50 for this post. The logical area of need would be wide receiver and cornerback. Allen Robinson is a good number one but Anthony Miller should be more of a slot. At corner, Kyle Fuller is good but it’s thin after that. That’s where Chicago should try to upgrade.

Noah Igbinoghene and Gabriel Davis might be two players they target. The Auburn corner can play any scheme and checks in at about 5-foot-10. He has good speed at 4.48 and has an ability to win in press. Davis would give the Bears a tall deep threat. Davis averaged 17.2 yards per catch for UCF. It’s an interesting flier for a team that needs to replace Taylor Gabriel. It’s tough to project 2nd round picks but this is about the type of player you can expect for Chicago. Trading up probably wouldn’t be smart given their situation either.
