WWE is the leading professional wrestling company in the world. They are one of the longest-running weekly television shows in history. So with so much success and television time, they have a massive roster. However, a massive roster means that not everyone will be able to wrestle on television weekly. So with wrestlers sitting at home and WWE’s massive roster, they have been making some cuts. Over the last couple of years, WWE has been making yearly cuts from their roster. However, when Triple H took over as Head of Creative last year, he re-signed some wrestlers that were released. Well, there are rumors that the company may be interested in signing some more wrestlers that were released, but now work for their rival.
Per The Wrestling Blog, there are rumors going around that WWE is interested in bringing back some current AEW stars. The names include Miro, Claudio Castagnoli, Andrade El Idolo, Buddy Mathews and Bryan Danielson, among others. All five of those aforementioned men are former WWE superstars, but they were released during WWE’s yearly roster cuts over the past few years.
Some people at WWE are very interesting on bringing back to WWE Miro (Rusev), Claudio (Cesaro), Andrade, Samoa Joe, Bryan Danieslon, Buddy Mathew and others when their Contracts with AEW and other company’s are done

Similarly to their careers in WWE, these men, besides Danielson, have been sidelined for the most part. Mathews has been wrestling with House of Black, but they haven’t been featured much on television up until a few months ago. Miro was sidelined for quite some time because AEW reportedly didn’t have creative plans for him. Andrade was dealing with an injury, but prior to sustaining it, he wasn’t doing much.
It’s unclear whether or not these men would want to go back to WWE. AEW offers wrestlers something that WWE can’t, freedom. AEW allows its wrestlers to compete in other promotions across the world. Furthermore, AEW has a less grueling travel schedule because they don’t run as many house shows as WWE.
Now since Andrade El Idolo and Miro are the main attractions for AEW’s new weekly show, Collision, it’s hard to believe that they would want to leave the company.
