Will Clark Blows Up Boston Media’s Anti-Devers Narrative: Calls WEEI’s Will Flemming a Liar on the Record

On Boston’s WEEI radio station Monday, Will Fleming said:

“Will Clark was there to work on ground balls with him at first base, and Raffy didn’t show up. So, that’s the person that these guys have been dealing with for a long time.”

If you’re wondering why I didn’t cover the story on the site, it’s because something in my gut knew it was BS. After everything that’s gone down recently (click here if you live under a rock), this story needed to simmer a bit before I even considered touching it.

It turns out my instinct was correct. Will Flemming is a liar, and that’s coming straight from the source, Will Clark.

VIA  “Deuces Wild” podcast with Eric Byrnes:

Hat Tip: NY Post:

“I’m standing out there,” Clark began. “[And Giants announcer] Dave Flemming actually introduces me to his brother, Will Flemming, who is one of the Red Sox radio/TV guys, I guess. And so now he goes on some podcast … and blows this thing out of f— proportion … and here we go.”

“I just gotta tell you right now, this is a bunch of bulls–t,” Clark added. “That’s first off. Second off … me and Raffy are fine, I’m gonna work with him whenever I get around to first base and all that. And Will Flemming? You can go f–k off, mother f—ker. You wanna go take a conversation that we’re having and then blow it out of proportion because you’re a f–king East Coast piece of s–t reporter? F–k off. And so other than that, I’m cool!”

Clark said he “completely understands” why Devers didn’t want to work with him at first base with the Red Sox in town — since the freshly traded slugger would have had to “go through all that bullsh–t, through the press and the media.”

Let’s make a few things clear on what happened today…

A: Add Will Flemming to the list of scumbags who don’t understand leadership, culture, and forward-thinking ability. If you understand those things, you can’t blame Devers under any circumstances. It can’t be argued. Stand in line with cowardly Jones.

B: It sure makes you wonder how WEEI scores all these interviews with Craig Breslow and Alex Cora… doesn’t it? Reeks of corruption from here.

C:

  • Boston sports media isn’t just wrong, they’re actively manufacturing narratives
  • Devers has been railroaded by people protecting management
  • I’m not a conspiracy theorist… just ahead of the truth again

I’m going to say this one more time. You cannot win long term without culture. The Red Sox don’t have one, it’s called a robot, and we have plenty of proof that’s the case. People are actively spreading lies to protect the people guarding the robot. The turncoats will not be denied.

This story isn’t going away. Take the keys away from the unaccountable children, or continue to suffer the consequences. The show must go on!
