Why Nobody Should Respect Cam Newton After He Dumped On His Former Teammates In Carolina

I just sort of wrote a post that was related to leadership. By the end of this post, you will see the light in terms of knowing that Cam Newton is a loser.

Newton, 35, trashed his former teammates in Carolina on the Travis Hunter podcast

VIA Recent appearance on The Travis Hunter Show:

“I went into a locker room of losers,” Newton said. “Guys didn’t know how to win. Guys didn’t know how to prepare. They didn’t take themselves seriously to realize, ‘we were 2-14.’ There was a lot of ‘2-14’ in the mentality of guys.”

Within the same week, the former Heisman winner at Auburn said that he wouldn’t give up his MVP Award for a Super Bowl championship.

Stephen A. Smith: "Cam, if you could give back that league MVP for a Super Bowl championship, would you do it?"

“Let me remind you — Brad Johnson won a Super Bowl,” Newton said. “Trent Dilfer won a Super Bowl. Respectfully, Nick Foles won a Super Bowl. So, yes, when you look at those guys and you say, ‘What’s more important? Would you have preferred to win a Super Bowl?’ I think that’s a humble approach.”

There’s A Reason Why Nobody Is In A Rush To Sign Cam Newton

Steve Smith rightfully called him out for it.

What Newton just described is that he’s a horrible teammate and leader. It’s no wonder that he had one good year in his life and failed to live up to his own talent. Maybe Newton should look in the mirror.

Want to know why Jalen Hurts is a Super Bowl champion? He played for Nick Saban and knows it takes a team to win. First thing he did was give credit to the defense. It’s not about me. It’s about us.

It’s obvious Newton is a me guy, which is why he’s out of the league well before he should have been. If anybody had any stones, they would tell Newton that to his face as he continues down the path of nonsense.
