Way Too Early 2026 NFL Draft Rankings Database

You know the deal. This is your one-stop shop for all things heading into the next iteration of the college football season. This post serves as your check list for who to track. We’re still a long way away from the 2026 NFL Draft, but that’s what the Way Too Early list is for.

All of the position rankings are linked for you to peruse them on your own time. I’ll add some further context below each position for you to consider heading into the season.

Quarterback:

^ Will depend on who actually declares. So many of the top guys can actually go back if they want to. That probably will be the biggest factor in what actually happens.

Running Back:

^ I can’t imagine I change my stance on the top two guys in the class.

Wide Receiver:

^ In love with the top 3 (with the latter needing to still prove it). It’s about who will emerge beyond that top group.

Tight End:

^ Thank me later on the Kenyon Sadiq call.

Offensive Line:

Defensive Line:

I love Peter Woods. We’ll see after that.

Linebacker:

^ Loaded filthy linebacker class. The top three are gross, and it’s more than just them. You’re a fool if you don’t take one from that grouping next year.

Defensive Back:

^ The top safety spot is taken. That’s not going to change. The top corner? Still very much up for grabs.
