The 2024 NFL Draft is in the books which means we don’t have anything football related to be excited about for a few months. As we gear up for next football season, I’m going to be releasing my way too early 2025 NFL Draft rankings to get you up to speed on the prospects you need to know. Next up on the list is the offensive line rankings. Enjoy them and feel free to comment on any disagreements you have.
Just a heads up from me. The rest of the positions are just going to be top ten. I went more expansive for the quarterbacks, running backs, and wide receivers. I need to start transitioning into fantasy content anyway. However, we’re going to list five corners and five safeties you need to monitor for next year.
5: Davison Igbinosun (Ohio State)
Ohio State is so loaded. This is a perfect example of that. They have DBs out the ass at that program right now. Igbinosun is an Ole Miss transfer that should have an instant impact this year.
4: Benjamin Morrison (Notre Dame)
Cam Hart wasn’t the only cornerback at Notre Dame who had talent. Morrison is pretty good too. Always a big fan of guys who come in and impact the game right away. Freshman All American in 2022 and followed it up with a pretty good year in 2023. Now it’s go time to really make that leap. We’ll see how high he soars this year.
3: Denzel Burke (Ohio State)
Could have easily declared already. Talked about him a bunch last year. Should be the CB1 at Ohio State room again.
2: Will Johnson (Michigan)
The two best players on the National Championship winning Michigan team were underclassmen. We already talked about the defensive tackle Graham in that post. This dude is a stud. Really good length on him at 6-foot-2 and knows how to play the ball. Big fan.
1: Travis Hunter (Colorado)
Now comes the freak. So freaky that he literally plays wide receiver and is good at it. The closest thing we have to Shohei Ohtani in football. He’s obviously going to be really good. I don’t think anyone with a brain questions that. It’s a matter of how good of a pure corner is he? Just really good or Hall of Famer good? Talent alone it’s probably the latter.
5: Andrew Mukuba (Texas)
Transfer from Clemson. Recruited highly but has zero ball skills to date. No real interception production. Looks physically gifted. We’ll see how it goes this Fall.
4: Keon Sabb (Alabama)
Hybrid guy at Michigan who is now at Bama. The Tide have a bunch of safeties who are all bunched in a group. We’ll see which one emerges but I liked Sabb as a future player when he was at Michigan.
3: Billy Bowman Jr. (Oklahoma)
Oklahoma during the last recruiting cycle landed Peyton Bowen and I kept waiting for him to make these monster plays. Turns out Billy Bowman was already there. First team All Big 12 last year and had six interceptions.
2: Xavier Watts (Notre Dame)
Talk about an interception machine. Does anybody remember the USC game? Converted receiver playing safety and looks damn good doing it.
1: Malaki Starks (Georgia)
Impossible to watch Georgia and not know who this is. Has been a really good player since his true freshman year. A total stud and should thrive at the next level too.
