Florida State Basketball enters the 2024-25 season after missing the 2024 NCAA Tournament. Several players left in the transfer portal, including Jalen Warley, Baba Miller, and Cam Corhen. While Leonard Hamilton did bring in a few pieces via the transfer portal, the cupboard looks pretty bare. Jamir Watkins opted to return – he’ll likely put up big numbers and may wind up an All-ACC honoree by season’s end – but he appears to be the lone bright spot for a team lacking in high-end talent. The Seminoles could start true freshman Daquan Davis at point guard and will need several players to step up if they want to put together a competitive campaign. Can Watkins carry this team to ACC relevancy, or will they get buried in an 18-team conference?
