Vitor Belfort To Be Inducted To The UFC Hall Of Fame

Former UFC Champion Vitor Belfort is the next UFC legend joining the Hall of Fame. Belfort will be inducted into the Pioneer wing of the UFC Hall of Fame. This wing is dedicated to fighters who turned professional before 2000, which demonstrates the youth of the UFC promotion.

Belfort was signed to the UFC as a 19-year-old, and his first fight took place at UFC 12 in 1997. Now, twenty fights later, and his last fight was in 2018, Belfort will be honored with the title of Hall of Famer.

Vitor Belfort had a storied combat career, succeeding in both Pride and the UFC. He finished with a professional career record of 26 wins and 14 losses with 21 finishes. Belfort is a former Light Heavyweight Champion as well as the UFC 12 Heavyweight Tournament Winner. Also, he has wins over some other UFC legends such as Michael Bisbing, Dan Henderson, Wanderlei Silva, and Randy Couture.

Fans will remember Belfort for his knack for violence and incredible skill at finding the finish. He holds the UFC record for first-round finishes with 13, and he has 10 knockouts in 90 seconds or less. He was extremely entertaining, and when he was in the octagon, one couldn’t look away or might miss an electrifying finish.

No question that Vitor Belfort deserves this honor, as his name has been littered throughout UFC history. Fans will be able to watch his induction into the 2025 Class of the UFC Hall of Fame in June at the 13th annual International Fight Week. Cheers to a great career.
