Sports Media
The Vendetta Sports Media Daily Show was streamed on a very special Tuesday. Matt and Chris dove into things on this Fourth of July edition. Everyone here at Vendetta wishes everyone who celebrates a very happy Independence Day. The Tuesday crew jumped into some NBA and MLB news, particularly with the start of free agency underway. There is plenty to watch, and below are the timestamps for a very interesting episode:
Open with the latest on Damian Lillard. The Trail Blazers superstar officially handed in a trade request on Saturday with the Miami Heat as his only preferred destination.
10:00 – Would a Ben Simmons trade to Miami make sense or help him revive his career?
11:45 – Matt gives his thoughts on the opening of the NBA Summer League last night, as well as the rumors surrounding Tyler Herro and his potential departure from Miami.
21:00 – The Tuesday crew dive into NBA Free Agency and give their thoughts on some of the deals given in the first few days.
38:30 – Matt and Chris discuss who the winners and losers of free agency are so far.
1:10:00 – They also include some MLB talk after the Yankees came back and defeated the Baltimore Orioles 6-3 at home last night, as well as touching on Domingo German’s perfect game.
1:14:30 – Chris closes things out with some quick thoughts on the New York Islanders. Lou Lamoriello handed out four contract extensions over the weekend and will mostly run it back with last year’s team.
Enjoy your holiday everyone! You can check out all past Daily Shows on the VSM Podcast Network. New episodes will be streamed live there on YouTube and the Vendetta Twitch. Keep your eyes peeled for a new daily show tomorrow.
