UFC Vegas 92 is not a great night of fights. The main event provides a solid clash between featherweight strikers, but it is a tough fight to bet on. That tends to be the theme of this event. Still, we are here dissecting UFC Vegas 92 to find the best bets available.
*All odds are taken from DraftKings and are accurate as of 3:30 p.m. on May 16.*
The first bet for UFC Vegas 92 is Adrian Yanez to knockout Vinicius Salvador. That prop is currently lined at -115.
Yanez has a lot of strong striking skills and showed a ton of potential. In pure boxing skills, Yanez is quick, accurate, throws in combinations and lands counters. That translated to landing big shots and finishing fights.
I am not a massive fan of Salvador’s skillset. At flyweight, he went 0-2. Now, he is moving up to bantamweight to fight an opponent with serious skills. That is already a red flag. On top of that, Salvador fights with his hands low and gets too aggressive. That will give Yanez plenty of chances to land knockout shots.
This seems like a favorable fight for Yanez and his KO prop is the best way to find value on the fight. At -115, it is one of the best bets on the board for UFC Vegas 92.
The second bet that stands out for UFC Vegas 92 is for Angela Hill to beat Luana Pinheiro. Hill is a -135 favorite while Pinheiro is a -114 underdog.
The biggest factor in this fight will be cardio. Pinheiro is strong in the first round, but she does not have 15 minutes of cardio. As a result, Pinheiro should dominate the first round while Hill should dominate the third. That leaves the second round as the deciding factor.
In the first round, Pinheiro will have a lot of success with big shots and judo throws. That said, I like Hill’s volume. That should help her win a close round. In the third round, she will be able to push a pace and potentially finish the fight. Hill’s overall durability and late-round finish upside lead me to favor her.
At -135, Hill is one of my favorite bets on UFC Vegas 92. The under is also a good look for anyone who hunts for big underdog money.
The final bet for UFC Vegas 92 is for Abus Magomedov to knock out Warlley Alves. That prop is currently lined at -110.
This bet is fairly simple. Magomedov has serious striking skills and lots of power. The issue is that his cardio is poor. Well, that does not matter much in this fight. Alves is a former welterweight who got knocked out in his only middleweight appearance. In the higher-weight class, I do not trust his chin. I think Magomedov uses his size and striking advantages to land a shot that finishes the fight.
At -110, I like Magomedov to get a knockout victory. This is a strong matchup against a fighter with suspect durability.
