UFC Vegas 102 Best Bets

UFC Vegas 102 has a few solid fights, but it is a challenging card to find great betting opportunities. Still, a few spots are worth placing a wager on. Here are the three best bets available for UFC Vegas 102.

Youssef Zalal -7.5 +115

In the UFC Vegas 102 co-main, Youssef Zalal will fight Calvin Kattar. Zalal is lined as a massive -485 favorite while Kattar is a +370 underdog. The best way to make a bet on this fight is to take the Zalal -7.5 alternate spread. That play comes with a +115 price tag.

Zalal is a pretty terrible matchup for Kattar. In striking exchanges, he quickly moves in and out of the pocket. This allows him to consistently land strikes without taking much damage in return. This will present issues for the older and slower Kattar. Additionally, Zalal will have a massive amount of grappling upside.

It is easy to see Zalal winning this fight dominantly. He can clearly win rounds in the striking and grappling exchanges. Furtermore, he has the submission skills to get the finish.

I expect Zalal to win this fight with a great performance. That is the result of being the young fighter who is making improvements while also presenting Kattar with a tough stylistic matchup. At +115, his -7.5 alternate spread is one of the best bets available for UFC Vegas 102.

Nazim Sadykhov +185

At UFC Vegas 102, Nazim Sadykhov will fight Ismael Bonfim. The bout is lined with Sadykhov as a +185 underdog while Bonfim is a -225 favorite. I am siding with the underdog as the moneyline side.

This is a great matchup, but the line is wide in my opinion. Bonfim has a lot of great skills and will have success at points in this fight; however, I trust Sadykhov when the gets into the late rounds. This is partially because of his striking style. He is going to apply pressure and look to land heavy shots. On top of that, I think his cardio is better and he has shown the toughness required to win tough fights.

At +185, I think there is value in Sadykhov’s moneyline. The combination of early knockout power and late-round cardio provides him a lot of upside to cash as an underdog. That makes him a great bet for UFC Vegas 102.

Angela Hill -105

The final bet for UFC Vegas 102 is for Angela Hill to defeat Ketlen Souza. The bout is closely lined with Hill sitting at -105 while Souza is at -115.

Hill is a veteran with a well-known skillset. The best aspect of her game is her distance striking skills. I expect that to come into play in this fight. On the feet, Hill’s distance striking should allow her to land with more volume. At the same time, Hill has become a better defensive grappler at this portion of her career. That will be crucial in this matchup.

I like the idea of betting on Hill at this price tag when she is booked against a prospect with three UFC fights. She is still consistently picking up wins against unranked opponents. The issues come when she is booked against highly ranked opponents. I do not think Souza will reach that level. If she does, I expect it to be later down the line.

Hill is one of the best bets on the board at UFC Vegas 102. It has been profitable to bet on Hill in this price range against opponents at this skill level. I’ll bet that trend continues.
