UFC Mexico City 2025 Best Bets

UFC Mexico City is a strong fight card with quality talent scattered across the lineup. That creates a handful of fights with playable betting lines. It is a simple card that features multiple apeasing moneyline bets. Here are three of the best bets available for UFC Mexico City.

*All lines are taken from DraftKings and are accurate as of 3:30 p.m. EST on Thursday, March 27, 2025.*

Drew Dober -118

In the UFC Mexico City co-main event, Drew Dober will fight Manuel Torres. The bout is lined razor thin as Dober sits at -118 while Torres is lined at -102. In my opinion, Dober should be a much larger favorite.

Torres is a very dangerous fighter. In the first round, he is a fighter with knockout power and physical grappling. This gives him multiple ways he can end a fight. That said, Dober is a durable fighter. It is difficult to imagine Torres finishing Dober in the early stages of a fight. In Dober’s most recent outing against Jean Silva, he showed a ridiculous chin.

Torres best path to victory is to aggressively grapple Dober. That would open the door to potentially snatching a submission that would finish the fight. The issue is that Torres has never shown urgency to grapple.

If Torres does not get the early finish, Dober will use his cardio to push the pace as Torres fades. The will eventually provide him with opportunities to land a knockout shot.

Ultimately, Dober can match Torres’ aggressiveness, but he has the cardio and durability edge. At -118, those advantages make Dober one of the best bets for UFC Mexico City.

Kevin Borjas +120

At UFC Mexico City, Kevin Borjas will fight Ronaldo Rodriguez. The bout is closely lined as Rodriguez sits at -142 while Borjas sits at +120. The underdog price tag makes Borjas one of the best bets for UFC Mexico City.

This fight should be a competitive matchup. Borjas and Rodriguez are both aggressive fighters who are willing to exchange strikes. In this specific matchup, that favors Borjas. That is because he is far better defensively and attacks the body. Rodriguez does not have great striking defense, which will allow Borjas to tee off with big strikes. Plus, the body shots should hit Rodriguez’s cardio. That is an even bigger possibility, considering the altitude of Mexico City.

At +120, I’ll side with Borjas because he has a clear path to outstrike Rodriguez. That makes him one of the best bets available for UFC Mexico City.

Chrisitan Rodriguez -166

The final best bet for UFC Mexico City is for Christian Rodriguez to defeat Melquizael Costa. Rodriguez is a -166 favorite, while Costa is a +140 underdog. Despite the favorite price tag, I’d much rather bet on Rodriguez.

Rodriguez is a great fighter with a ton of appealing tools to bet on. He has great cardio, elite defensive grappling, submission upside, impactful counter strikers, and a strong clinch game. It is hard for his opponents to find an easy path to victory.

Costa is a strong striker with quality grappling. I do not believe he is a bad fighter. Rather, I do not think he is on Rodriguez’s level. In striking exchanges, Rodriguez should have an edge. I expect him to land simple but effective strikes on the outside. If Costa crashes distance, Rodriguez can land knees and elbows. Plus, Rodriguez has the potential grappling upside.

At -166, Rodrigeuz is the better striker, grappler, and has better cardio. I’ll gladly lay the chalk to side with him at UFC Mexico City.
