Ubisoft is still trying to fix Rainbow Six Siege’s ranked game mode

Rainbow Six Siege is a popular first-person shooter published by Ubisoft. It was originally released in 2015 and the game is still going strong today. The new update for the game came in the form of Operation Heavy Mettle, which is the “Year 8, Season 3” update.

These new seasons offer a host of changes to Rainbow Six Siege such as new content, updates, and fixes. These updates fix issues as well as keep the game fresh for players. However, Ubisoft is having a lot of problems following the new season update, especially with the ranked game mode.

Ranked is arguably the most popular game mode in the game as it offers players the most competitive experience. There are a lot of different game modes that give players a variety of ways to enjoy Rainbow Six Siege, though ranked is usually the main focus for players, streamers and professional players.

Unfortunately, the ranked servers have been having issues. Gamers were not able to play ranked after the launch of the new season due to the servers being down and now a lot of players are not seeing their ranks as well as their stats for the new season.

This is a huge turn-off for Rainbow Six Siege gamers as ranked is not as enjoyable without the satisfaction of seeing one’s rank and stats go up. Ubisoft has addressed these issues and there is no timetable on when the problem will be resolved. According to the Ubisoft website, ranked stats and MMR are being recorded so gamers can take some solace in knowing they are still playing for rewards.

Ranked Issues Continued

This is an unfortunate situation for everyone as no one wants Rainbow Six Siege to be plagued with these major issues. Ubisoft in the past has struggled with the game’s health such as bad servers, hacking plus terrible bugs and glitches. However, they always seem to pull through and improve these problems. Ubisoft Montreal are the specific developers of the game and I’m sure they are working hard to resolve the issues.

The Ubisoft Montreal team is smaller than a lot of other developer teams so it takes a bit longer to figure out solutions. Overall, gamers should be happy with the fact that they can still enjoy the competitiveness of ranked now that the servers are back up but, unfortunately, it might be a while before players get to see their ranks and stats as well as reap their rewards for the ranked performance.

Hopefully, before the end of Operation Heavy Mettle gamers will be able to enjoy a fully functional Rainbow Six siege ranked like Ubisoft intended.
