Tyreek Hill: I Would Like To Retire In Miami

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill said he would like to spend the rest of his career with the Dolphins on the Around the Bar Podcast.

Quote via the Around the Bar Podcast:

“I love Miami. I love every bit of it,” Hill said. “My wife loves it, the kids love it, my mom loves it, and it’s just a beautiful city to live in. There’s so much stuff to do. Obviously, I would like to retire in Miami, but we all know how the NFL is, how jobs go, and people getting promotions over here and we understand that. But Miami is a great city. I love the team I play on, love the guys in the locker room, love the head coach, love the GM. So that means sign me. I love all you guys so much, I want to stay in Miami forever, man. Keep me there.”

Tyreek Hill has been with the Miami Dolphins for two seasons since he was traded by the Kansas City Chiefs. During his time in South Beach, Hill has 238 receptions for 3509 yards and 20 touchdowns.

Hill, who turned 30 in March, signed a four-year extension worth $120 million with Miami, with the contract set to run out in 2026. There were reports of Hill reportedly retiring after the 2025 season, but it seems like the wide receiver will continue playing past that mark.

While the wideout seems happy in Miami, it doesn’t rule out a return to Kansas City, where he won a Super Bowl in 2019.

The Dolphins currently have a loaded wide receiver group, that has Jaylen Waddle and with the addition of Odell Beckham Jr..
