Trae Young is Jealous of Luka Doncic

The NBA 2018 draft class will be historic, mostly because of the two superstars in Trae Young and Luka Doncic. However, one’s team is doing better than the other. Trae Young and Luka Doncic are bound by this draft, especially their trade. The Atlanta Hawks and Dallas Mavericks swapped players in the NBA 2018 Draft. Therefore, no matter what happens, they will always be compared to each other. However, Trae Young is already frustrated with his team. Shams Charania of The Athletic:

Meanwhile, Luka Doncic is playing better and his team is doing better than Trae Young’s team. The Dallas Mavericks are 3rd in the Western Conference. A surprise to a lot of the NBA. Luka Doncic, however, is already playing like he wants to be the best in the league. He is currently putting up MVP numbers and is almost a walking triple-double. Luka Doncic is averaging 30 PPG on 47.6% shooting, 9.2 APG, and 9.8 RPG in 34 minutes. They play the same amount of minutes, but Luka beats Trae Young in every statistical category listed.

I feel for Young, I do. It might seem like nothing he does right now will ever be good enough to be better than Luka Doncic. But it is still early in their careers. Hell, it’s only their second season! This will be one of the best storylines to watch in the NBA for years to come. The classic Trae Young vs. Luka Doncic. Right now, Luka is winning, but with their careers so young. ANYTHING can happen. I will say, if we are not blessed with an Atlanta Hawks and Dallas Mavericks NBA Finals ONE TIME in their careers, it’ll be one of the biggest disappointments in the NBA.
