Earl Grey is a bit unconventional as a top ice cream flavor. But trust me on this one, the earl grey has a lot to offer. It’s flavorful and tastes just like earl grey. However, it was creamy and not bitter. The flavor is sophisticated and mature. It’s not too overbearing and has the perfect amount of sweetness.

Brown sugar cookie dough crunch is definitely the sweetest flavor on this list, so people with a sweet tooth would love this one. The brown sugar adds a deeper sweetness than most other ones. Van Leeuwen has great vegan ice cream, with my personal favorite being the chocolate brownie. This one is particularly good because it has the creamiest richest chocolate flavor that might be unexpected from a vegan batch. Nevertheless, the flavor is just as delicious as any other one made from cream. 

2. Honeycomb

Honeycomb is not only one of the most unique flavors but also one of the most delicious. The flavor is nothing you could really expect and ends up wildly surprising you. It has a nutty bite as well as a sugary one. What’s also more surprising is that it’s not actually made with honey at all yet still makes complete sense that it’s called honeycomb. You’ll understand when you try it.

For the top selection, the best flavor is the praline butter cake. This flavor has everything you can ask for in an ice cream cone. It has the buttery bite from the cake, the nuttiness from the praline and an additional caramel-y flavor swirled in as well. It’s definitely a No. 1!
