Tom Brady Announces Retirement

Wow… Who would have thought, after all these years finally Tom Brady announces his retirement. The reign is over, the football world will no longer be saying, “Tom Brady has done it again”. After 22 seasons and 363 games started, one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time is finally stepping down. There have been many players to make an impact on the game, but few have done the things that Brady has done.

Tom Brady has changed the way people look at the position of quarterback. He revolutionized the position and year after year did the impossible. Brady has finished his career with a total of seven super bowl wins and fifteen pro bowl selections. It is strange, to say the least thinking about the NFL without Brady. For many people, when you think of football you think of him. He is the first name that comes to mind for a large majority of people.

For many football franchises, Brady is one player that struck fear into opposing teams. Who is the one man no one wanted to play against? The overwhelming answer is Tom Brady. Now I will say, as a Giants fan I have not been the fondest of this man over the years. Yes, we have the two Super Bowl wins of the Patriots, but the fact that he has been dominant throughout his entire career rubs many people the wrong way. Despite that fact, I will never, and I mean never, take away the fact that he is an incredible player with an unbelievable amount of talent.

Bravo Tom, you have successfully established yourself as one of the greatest of all time. Your name will go down in history, and the reign of TB12 will forever be remembered.
