Being Bald Can Suck- Here’s How to Help it Suck Less

Being bald isn’t for everyone, some people choose the bald life (like Trey), and others like myself, lost the gene lottery and I am losing my hair in my early twenties. I guess I gotta thank my Mom’s side of the family for that.

Anyways, this is the first summer I have accepted the fate that my hair will never grow like it once did, so I leaned into it and shaved my head. It was going great honestly, I don’t need to go spend forty bucks at the barber anymore, anyone can just take the razor to my head and go till the hair is gone, Easy. I don’t even need to buy shampoo anymore, just lather the body wash on top of my head and it’s all clean, great.

For some reason, I thought it would be a good idea to shave my head right before I went away. I went on a little vacation and I learned some very important lessons, so I figured I had to share some tips with my fellow no hair folks.

Tip #1: I know dogs are a man’s best friend, but hats are a bald man’s best friend. There is nothing worse than the sun beating down on the shiny spot on your head for twelve hours. Throw a little bucket hat on top to keep the dome piece covered and your day just got 100x better.

Tip #2: Anyone who knows me from outside of the site knows I sweat too much, like go to the doctor to get it checked out type sweat. One thing I really took for granted as a kid was: my hair really allowed me to hide how much much liquid my hair could hold. Anyways, keep a towel nearby to keep your face and head dry. This one sounds stupid, but I swear that any picture I took in the heat looked like it rained directly on my head. The sweat drops are gross, so keep a towel over the shoulder and keep your head dry. Bonus Tip: If you can get a damp washcloth use that, the water will help keep your neck cool too and that will make the heat a lot more barable.

P.S. I know there is a campaign going on to get Trey a wig, but I’m pretty sure Vegas is really hot and sunny so if we don’t get some Patreon support he’s gotta invest in a Vendetta bucket hat.
