NBA star Steph Curry wants to go pro in professional golf after he’s done with basketball.

Steph Curry is one of those guys that just seems to be good at everything. His list of basketball accomplishments is nearly endless. Nevertheless, this has not stopped him from becoming quite a talented golfer. It’s not exactly a secret that the sensational Golden State Warriors guard loves the sport. Therefore, it makes a lot of sense that he wants to spend more time on the green once he’s finished with his time on the court.

In a recent interview with Golf Digest, Steph Curry revealed that he wants to take his golf game as far as it can go post-NBA retirement. In addition to his other responsibilities, he told his interviewer “I’m going to reasonably invest as much into my golf as I can to see how good I can get.” Chances are he’s going to be pretty damn good. For example, some people may remember his epic hole-in-one at a celebrity event in Lake Tahoe last year. He went on to win the event, by the way. He has his eyes on the PGA Tour Champions some day. If he’s even a fraction as talented as he is on the hardwood, he’ll be competitive.

In typical fashion, Steph Curry isn’t just concerned about his own golf game. In addition to his own golf career, Steph works to get kids involved in golf, and bring more diversity to the game. For example, Steph personally helps oversee the Underrated Golf Tour. Put on by his own Eat. Learn. Play foundation, the Underrated Tour held four different tournaments across the United States last year. All competitors are aged 12-18. Entry is open to boys and girls of all backgrounds. That is, as long as they qualify for one of the 48 highly coveted spots. In addition to its US events, Tour plans to expand to Europe next year, further expanding its noble goals.
