Welcome to Vendetta’s SimBull CFB full team breakdowns, where the writers from Vendetta Sports Media will be analyzing all the Power 5 college football programs for their share value on SimBull, and next up are the Wisconsin Badgers.
We know what Wisconsin is at this point. They’re a 9 or 10 win team and if they make a Rose Bowl appearance, it’s serious gravy. This iteration of Wisconsin is a good one to invest in. Yes, the Badgers did lose to Penn State but it was a coin flip game all day.
Wisconsin can run the football again. Clemson transfer Chez Mellusi has been an instant hit out of the backfield. Graham Mertz isn’t perfect but he looks damn good compared to ghosts of Wisconsin’s past not named Russell Wilson. Jim Leonard sports a real defense and Paul Chryst is a really respected Big 10 coach.
Ohio State is obviously the class of the Big 10, but they’re vulnerable. Wisconsin is priced at $55.36 on the SimBull CFB market and for good reason. You know they’re going to be there at the end in this conference. The Big 10 is not the gauntlet that the SEC is. Wisconsin will be able to win their fair share of games just by playing defense and running the football. Maybe not the highest floor but a really safe stock for investors both in the short and long term.
