Welcome to Vendetta’s SimBull CFB full team breakdowns, where the writers from Vendetta Sports Media will be analyzing all the Power 5 college football programs for their share value on SimBull, and next up are the UCLA Bruins.
Just when you thought UCLA was ready to turn the corner, think again. An impressive win over LSU was followed by a loss to Fresno State. Then again, Oregon almost lost to Fresno so maybe not such a terrible loss. It does appear, however, that UCLA is on track to be a serious contender in the PAC 12.
Quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson is far from perfect. He’s athletic but the overall passing game prowess leaves little to be desired. Zach Charbonnet is running the hell out of the football and looks like a steal on the transfer portal. If nothing else, Chip Kelly has his best team with the Bruins. That much is clear. They play real defense and are really physical at both lines of scrimmage.
We know what Kelly built at Oregon. This UCLA team feels like a great buy now in the hopes that a potential powerhouse is being built here in the Pac12. USC is down and Oregon is really the only proven threat in the conference. UCLA is currently priced at $40.01 on the SimBull CFB market. Oddly enough, priced below an LSU team who they already beat and play in a much weaker conference. Food for thought.
