Shavon Revel 2025 NFL Draft Profile

Before I even start, shout out to another legend at East Carolina! Don’t blame me, it’s a mandatory plug to mention the video game series we did with the Purple Pirates. You can check out that series here. Shavon Revel was a huge part of our early success, and, as crazy as this may sound, his video game representation isn’t too far off from how he plays in real life. Having said all of that, let’s have a chat and review the Revel 2025 NFL Draft profile!

NFL Draft Stock Report: Week 3

Revel, 22, was actually a JUCO player at Louisburg College prior to ending up with the Pirates. He was a three star corner going through the process and was highly ranked in the state of North Carolina. Revel likely had opportunities to transfer out this past year after making a name for himself, but decided to stick with ECU.

The East Carolina product did not work out at the Combine because of his torn ACL. He did, however, sport some pretty impressive measurables for the position that includes checking in at 6-foot-2, 194, and over 32 inch arms. His length along with plus speed is definitely a positive in his game.

I actually did watch Revel a few times this year. I think the thing that’s by far the most positive here is that it didn’t take long to find him. The best thing a small school guy can do is pop off the screen without having to try to look for him. Revel did that. No question about it. In three games this past year, Revel posted two interceptions and two PBUs. Last year, he was a Second-team All-American Athletic Conference and even blocked two kicks.

The more you watch him, the more he just proves he’s a good football player. He’s a more than willing tackler. Good closing speed and plus ball skills. A 48.8 passer rating allowed is a really good mark too. There’s even some twitch in his game.

I have a first round grade on Shavon Revel. I believe he will become a quality starting outside corner at the next level. The good news is you can probably snag him in the second or maybe even third round based on him coming off injury. He’s one to track heading into this process.
