Section 10: Red Sox PR Interns With Microphones

The Section 10 fan boys have made their stance clear. They are nothing more than Red Sox PR interns with microphones and it’s so damn sad. (WooSox Photo/Ashley Green / USA TODAY NETWORK)

Section 10: Red Sox PR Interns With Microphones

Section 10 had the perfect lane. They built their name on being the voice of the people, the ones who were close to the team but still “real” about it. Now? They’ve turned into Red Sox PR interns with microphones.

In the aftermath of the Rafael Devers trade, the Section 10 fan boys had a choice to make. That choice has become quite clear. There’s nothing more to say beyond the fact that Joon Lee published one article that was more insightful than anything the PR interns have said in years since doing their show. That’s just a fact.

Truthfully, I’m embarrassed for them, and I truly don’t know how they sleep at night. I understand that Jared Carrabis doesn’t go outside, so maybe he’s that out of touch with reality, but if this is your so-called king of the fan base, he sits on a throne of lies. Not sure what Coley Mick brings to the table at this point beyond tweeting too much while also simultaneously saying nothing of value.

There’s no room for interpretation on this one. None. Frankly, I can’t believe Craig Breslow isn’t in prison right now, and this story isn’t close to going away with all the new details that keep surfacing. The thing about it is that none of those juicy details seem to stem from the Section 10 fan boys. They’ve made their stance clear. Puppets who bring absolutely nothing to the table.
