Sports Media
After taking two months off the air, Fox Sports finally found someone to debate Skip Bayless. It was starting to look like no one wanted to work with Skip Bayless. In a surprising turn of events, FS1 will air an old rival of Skip. Richard Sherman will join Undisputed to debate Skip Bayless.
Andrew Marchand of the New York Post was the first to report the news:
“Richard Sherman is joining FS1 to spar with Skip Bayless on “Undisputed” in the wake of Shannon Sharpe’s departure from the program, The Post has learned.”
Sherman will go at it with Bayless on around 50-100 shows per year, mostly during football season.
He will remain on Amazon Prime Video’s “Thursday Night Football” studio show.
Little Wayne will also debate Skip, but only on Fridays. Marchand also says that Fox is working on a deal to land Keyshawn Johnson, who was recently laid off by ESPN. It appears that Fox is just building a part time team around Skip.
It’s not the worst strategy in the world. If you’re going to hire an uneducated idiot that nobody wants to talk to, maybe it’s best to have a rotating team so nobody gets sick of the guy enough to pull a Shannon Sharpe. I’m not sure why you don’t just fire Skip at that point, but whatever.
Let us know in the comments. Is Richard Sherman the right hire? Are you eager to watch a show of Sherman and Skip debating each other?
I just can’t imagine this going well. We all remember this, right?
