Rhea Ripley was going to face off against Bianca Belair at Money in the Bank for the Raw Women’s Championship. Belair opened up this past Monday Night Raw stating that Ripley was not medically cleared to compete at Money in the Bank. Carmella is replacing her at Money in the Bank after winning a fatal five-way match on Raw.
It was unclear the extent of Ripley’s injury, but to announce her as being out two weeks before the show meant it had to be somewhat serious. Rhea Ripley commented on her current status via Instagram.
Rhea states that it is a “brain/teeth” injury. Any brain injury is a scary one, so we hope she is going to have a speedy recovery. I’m sure Rhea will get her title shot once she is healthy. She has had a great run in WWE thus far. Ever Since she joined The Judgement Day, she really elevated herself. Ripley is young and has a bright future ahead of her and she is one of the best wrestlers in WWE, so I have no doubt she will come back strong.
Rhea took a knee to the face during her 6-man tag match at Hell in a Cell. Nothing has been confirmed, but it is suspected that it was her own knee that did the damage, as reported by WhatCulture Wrestling.
Rhea ended up needing dental work, as she shared it on her Twitter.
There is no timeline for when Rhea Ripley is supposed to return, as of now. Rhea has been doing some of her best work with The Judgement Day, so hopefully she will not be out for long.
Vendetta Sports Media wishes her a speedy recovery.
