Respect Gamer Trey

Humor me for a second as I go on a much-needed storytime rant. The only thing that needs to be made clear is that gamer Trey deserves his damn respect.

You have probably heard this saying before – “Jack of all trades, master of none”. A lot of people have tried to give me that advice.

That I should just focus on fantasy football.

Or that I should just focus on the NFL Draft.

Or that I should just focus on baseball.

Someone the other day told me I should focus more on fantasy hockey. Which is hilarious considering I’ve only been doing it the past four years. Which again, makes it more hilarious when you consider the fact that I was the lead liaison responsible for signing Zack Wheeler (who is maybe the most successful free agent pitching contract ever?)

Maybe that’s sound advice for some people but I will ALWAYS disagree with those people.

Trey is the most talented MFer in this industry and I will dominate the landscape across ALL sports… including gaming.

Here at Vendetta Sports Media, we pride ourselves on covering everything. For the sports I fall behind on, we have hired some of the most talented people across the industry. Truthfully, I sit here and laugh every single day while other companies with more resources fall asleep at the wheel while the VSM empire grows in stealth.

Now let me get to the real task at hand. I always had this what if that if I focused all of my time on gaming, what would have been? Madden was always my forte. I haven’t lost to a human at Madden since I was 8 or 9? I used to be ranked with an undefeated record as a kid. It just never seemed feasible to become a professional streamer nor did I have the energy growing up considering that I was wrestling for most of the year.

This East Carolina rebuild was a huge test for gamer Trey. I haven’t played Madden in years (the last time was the Jets rebuild with rookie Sam Darnold). Did I have the ability to revive a one star program and bring them to the National promise land?

Turns out your boy still got it. We’ve been recruiting like a monster (with virtually no points spent on the recruiter tab) and just won the National Title against Texas and Arch Manning within three seasons. That’s while playing on Heisman difficulty.

Would Trey be the hottest gamer on the planet if I focused all of my time gaming? Big time focal point on the word ‘hottest’ there. If I trained hard enough, I would win those Madden tournaments. There is no question in my mind. Nobody on YouTube has a more successful rebuild than the ECU series I have and all of the evidence has been live streamed in real time.

By the way… East Carolina just fired their head coach in real life and the program is a total mess. That’s the team I revived. Put some respect on Gamer Trey.
