Rafael Devers Confirms The Red Sox Had Bad Forward-Thinking Ability

I just finished the follow-up article to the recent podcast appearance (this will catch you up if you’re new or late to the party), and our former face of the franchise in Boston is about to live his best life. Not just that… Rafael Devers confirmed everything I’ve been talking about.

The Red Sox fail at all three non-negotiables in terms of team-building.

Leadership.

Culture.

Forward-thinking ability.

People who are good at forward-thinking anticipate problems, not react to them. If there was no contingency plan for a Triston Casas injury, that’s just poor planning. Don’t blame the player. Devers can’t be bad for culture if it’s non-existent.

And here’s the funniest part. Devers confirmed exactly what I said when I was talking to Dom at the site, who wrote this piece for VSM.

The evidence speaks for itself, and the show must go on.

“I would say that I have put some good numbers over at Boston and I think that I do feel that I have earned some respect. And if they would have asked me at the beginning of spring training, yes, I would have played,” Devers told reporters though a translator, according to MLB.com’s Ian Browne.

Do McAdam, Cotillo, and Passan all qualify as bad reporters to or are we onto something here? Just maybe. We still live by the Chinese Farmer.

And here’s a follow-up angle from the top link because I know most of you are ADHD wack jobs who already forgot about it.

When I was asked about this angle on the podcast appearance, what I would do if something like this happened at VSM?

Here’s the answer…

It wouldn’t. Bagdonas would just do the article because we here at Vendetta have a culture-based mission, and the standard of excellence is clear and constantly communicated. And the only reason why he does it? Because I constantly achieve that standard, leading by example, with competitive stamina every single day.

End of blog.

The show must go on.
