WWE partnered with Logan Paul’s widely-known sports drink PRIME Hydration to be the first center-ring sponsor in WWE history. Beginning at Wrestlemania 40, PRIME Hydration will be featured in the center of the ring in every Premium Live Event, making them the exclusive “Official Hydration Drink Partner” of WWE.
The current U.S. champion took to Smackdown this past Friday to make the announcement to the public. Paul and co-founder KSI stood in-ring with the PRIME hydration logo featured in the center of the mat.
The partnership with PRIME and WWE makes it the largest sponsorship deal in WWE history. Paul expressed his thoughts on the matter, stating:
“Combining two of my greatest achievements into one knockout partnership is a dream come true. We’ve worked incredibly hard at PRIME to build a brand that disrupts the beverage industry and it’s time to join forces with the global leader in sports entertainment. Thank you to everyone on both sides who have played an important role in bringing PRIME Hydration to the ring.”
Last January, PRIME signed a multi-year deal with the UFC. UFC is also part of TKO Group Holdings, the parent company of WWE. This new partnership with the WWE makes PRIME Hydration the first official partner across both companies.
WWE has previously partnered with other sports and energy drinks; this past, Summerslam featured C4 as the official energy drink. However, this is the first time something of this caliber has been done in this industry.
PRIME hydration has made features in WWE in the past. Wrestlemania 39 featured KSI promoting the sports drink as a PRIME bottle mascot during Logan Paul’s match with current WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins.
Co-founders Logan Paul and KSI first started their business in early 2022. Since then, they’ve generated over $250 million in sales and are projected to surpass $1.2 billion as of late 2023. With this new partnership, they should be expected to exceed that amount and generate revenue through what will most likely be a successful relationship between the two companies.
