Pornstar slams WWE, AEW legend; says he would have been released if not for nepotism

WWE veteran and current AEW star Matt Hardy has caught a lot of flak for his actions over the past weekend.

Back in 1999, Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy broke into the wrestling industry as the Hardy Boyz and quickly became WWE fan favorites. Across their careers, both brothers have had successful solo runs, but many consider Jeff to be the more popular solo act. Additionally, The Charismatic Enigma has been more popular online, despite his many real-life controversies.

Seemingly in light of CM Punk’s AEW release, Matt Hardy took to social media to praise The Young Bucks and Saturday’s Collision show–something he’s never done before. This caught the attention of many, who called the WWE veteran out on how petty his posts came across. Even pornstar Morgan Holly Moore chimed in with all the backlash and boldly claimed that Matt wouldn’t be more than a jobber without Jeff Hardy.

Fans of The Elite have been vocal over the past week and praised AEW for firing CM Punk. On the other hand, many of Punk’s fans have been voicing their criticisms and even calling for him to return to WWE. While Matt Hardy seems to be happy about Punk’s departure, the AEW fanbase is more divided than ever.

Matt Hardy’s wife, Reby, took a few shots against former WWE/AEW star CM Punk

Reby Hardy has notably gotten under the skin of quite a number of online fans with her TikTok videos regarding the things happening in AEW. But unlike Matt Hardy, Reby isn’t signed to any promotion and has no issue with taking shots at AEW or even WWE stars. In light of all the drama surrounding CM Punk’s exit, Reby let her feelings be known in a TikTok video.

This is notably not the first time Reby has slammed CM Punk online, as she did the same back in late 2022 after the veteran got into a fight with Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks. However, the online backlash she received for making light of Jeff Hardy after his arrest last year was far worse. In both cases, Reby seemed to upset both AEW and WWE fans alike.
