Boston Celtics guard Payton Pritchard has won Sixth Man of the Year, the league announced Tuesday.
Prtchard won the award over Detroit’s Malik Beasley, who finished second in the NBA in made 3-pointers, and Cleveland’s Ty Jerome, who scored 27 points in the Cleveland Cavaliers’ series-opening win over the Miami Heat on Sunday.
Pritchard earned 82 of the 100 first-place votes. Beasley earned 13 and Jerome owned two. Others who received first-place votes include De’Andre Hunter and Naz Reid, who won the award last year.
