Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski is this years comeback player of the year. The selection comes of no surprise although Atlanta’s Julio Jones also had to be in the conversation. Prior to this season there was conversation around the league that Gronk would be done or never return to his peak performance. Gronk has now silenced those doubter putting up an impressive stat line.

After over coming injuries to his knee and fore arm you can see the vast improvement to his game. This season Gronk was able to triple his touchdown rate from last season. The Patriots will host the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC title game. The spike machine will look to throw Colts safety Sergio Brown “out da club” again on his way to another great performance. Gronkowski was also in the news this week for party bus. Let’s hope the freight train tight end is not taking the Colts to lightly.
