No. 1 TE In ‘26 Class Mark Bowman Commits To USC
The USC Trojans get a huge commitment for next year’s incoming class. Mark Bowman is the number one tight end in the upcoming 2026 recruiting class. Bowman currently attends one of the most elite football programs in the country in Mater Dei. Now, there is a lot of time for the commitment to be flipped, but for now, he will be staying in California and attending USC.
The 6’4” 225-pound TE had been connected to some other huge schools. However, he decided on the Big Ten over powerhouse SEC schools such as Georgia, Texas, and Ole Miss. This commitment is massive for the Trojans as they land an incredible five-star talent. Bowman is ranked as the 16th overall prospect in the ‘26 class according to 247 Sports.
USC has the early lead in recruiting with the number one 2026 class according to 247 Sports. Also, Bowman is joining fellow five-star OT Keenyi Pepe in their hard commitment to the Trojans. However, I believe it is too early to get a complete gauge of how these recruiting classes will look by the end of summer.

USC is looking to get back on top and achieve some college football glory. They will have a better chance now with the new College Football Playoff format. The Trojans are coming off a down year as they finished 7-6 in their first year in the Big Ten. Head Coach Lincoln Riley is looking to get the Trojans back on track next season, and it starts with his success recruiting.
Riley was able to get QB Caleb Williams to transfer, and that turned into a Heisman award at USC. Now, USC will need to find another gem at quarterback. However, recruiting the No. 1 TE in Mark Bowman should help whoever is under center for the Trojans.
