The Atlanta Hawks have acquired free agent guard Nickeil Alexander-Walker for a four-year, $62 million deal, ESPN NBA insider Shams Charania first reported Monday.
NBA insider Jake Fischer of The Stein Line is reporting that the two sides are discussing a sign-and-trade.
Alexander-Walker can fit into the Hawks’ $25.3 million trade exception from the Dejounte Murray trade last summer, but only if it’s a sign-and-trade.
At the time of this publishing, the compensation has not been disclosed.
