Nick Eubanks 2021 NFL Draft Profile

Every year you look for those diamonds in the rough tight ends that can develop into studs. Michigan product Nick Eubanks could be the guy. The Wolverines tight end has virtually no buzz heading into the 2021 NFL Draft, but maybe that shouldn’t be the case. Let’s check out the Nick Eubanks 2021 NFL Draft profile.

Eubanks feels like he was at Michigan forever. He kinda was being a redshirt senior. Eubanks was a four-star recruit in high school as a receiver. The size is there being 6-foot-5, 245. Considering he came from a wide receiver background, I think Eubanks blocks fairly well. In fact, I would have liked to see him get more receiving opportunities instead of being asked to do dirty work.

The pure numbers on Eubanks aren’t overwhelming. His best receiving year came in 2019 where he posted 25 receptions for 243 yards and four touchdowns. I think Eubanks could have produced more. His opportunities were limited and the Michigan quarterback play stank to high heavens. It sure would have helped if Michigan had a quarterback who was capable of starting a middle school game.

I think the biggest thing to note about Eubanks is that he can really move. The typical linebacker usually can’t keep up with him. Eubanks can get up the field and create problems down the field. He looks like a natural receiver with the ball in the air too adjusting to imperfect throws well.

I have Nick Eubanks inside my top ten list of tight ends. I have no idea if he’s even going to get drafted. His traits should be good enough for a late round selection. Especially at a position that’s so how to find quality players.
