First things first, read what he said and ask what actual point he has. Wins are not a quarterback stat. Josh Allen played out of his mind and he lost, Jimmy Garoppolo laid an absolute stinker and he won. Can quarterbacks play a massive part in whether their team wins or loses? Absolutely! But to say that wins and losses are a quarterback stat is absolutely ridiculous.

Secondly, if you know football you know football. I couldn’t care less if you played professionally, at the college level, in high school, or not at all! If you know football, you know football. I couldn’t care less what background you come from. It’s just ridiculous to say that not playing football professional disqualifies someone from knowing about football. John Elway is one of the greatest quarterbacks in NFL history and he absolutely sucked at drafting quarterbacks! Brandon Beane in Buffalo has no college football experience, does he know football? I think he does. Bill Belichick didn’t play football professionally, does he know football? I would say he certainly does. See how ridiculous the “didn’t play, doesn’t know” argument is?
