Mikal Bridges is the “star” of the Brooklyn Nets. Apparently, the secret to his success is Chipotle. The former Villanova product doesn’t just like Chipotle. He eats it every… single… day… That’s not even a joke.
Bridges, 27, recently admitted on a video produced by GQ that he’s been eating Chipotle every single day for about a decade straight.
“Still been on it heavy to this day,” Bridges said in the video. “I have friends and family that [tease] me a little bit. It’s too fire to not have every single time, so it don’t disappoint.”
“I used to get the hot salsa,” he explained. “But I don’t know if y’all know, that hot salsa I don’t know what they did to it these past couple years, but I just take one bite and I just be like chugging water. It still ain’t helping. It just be painful eating a bowl. I felt soft because I love spicy food and I’m just like bruh I’ve been eating this hot sauce for all these years.
“Rest in peace to the hot sauce.”
Front Office Sports calculated that Bridges has eaten over $50,000 worth of Chipotle if he were to have eaten it every single day since 2013. The good news is that doesn’t make a dent on those NBA checks!
Bridges may have traded himself for Kevin Durant. I’m not sure he would trade anything for his daily dose of Chipotle. Can we get this man an ad for Chipotle already!
