It is not everyday that billionaires find themselves in an MMA fight. Yet, Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg seem interested in a fight, and Dana White has said the UFC is willing to host the bout.
While the fight is far from being official, betting odds have been released for a potential scrap between Zuckerberg and Musk, including a moneyline with a couple of props. Here are some of the bets that you can make on the potential fight.
*All lines are taken from BetOnline and are accurate as of 6:00 p.m. ET on Saturday, June 24, 2023. *
The odds listed are presented in American odds. In this system, favorites, which are denoted by the minus sign, display how much you need to bet to make $100. For example, a $500 bet on Zuckerberg to win would net $100 in profit. On the flip side, underdogs, which are denoted by the plus sign, display how much you would make off a $100 bet. Therefore, a $100 bet on Musk to win would payout a $300 profit.
You may be curious as to why Zuckerberg is lined as a massive favorite. After all, Musk has a noticeable size advantage. The Telsa CEO is 6-foot-1 and 185 pounds while the Meta CEO stands at 5-foot-7 and 155 pounds.
Zuckerberg has proven experience in MMA. Earlier this year, he entered a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournament. Plus, at UFC Vegas 61, he sat cageside to watch Mackenzie Dern fight Yan Xiaonan. This experience and knowledge gives Zuckerberg an advantage in a hypothetical bout against Musk. If that was not enough, he is only 39 while Musk is 51. Zuckerberg is a reasonable favorite.
