You can continue to call me the bad guy. OR… you can recognize I’m right and am the only person capable of saving this dying industry. Two things are happening right now. This industry is crumbling because the incoming talent won’t change and won’t work hard enough. What’s going down at Sports Illustrated is just the beginning.
The Los Angeles Times is laying off 115 staff members according to Awful Announcing. Feel free to check out that Awful Announcing link. It has some of the names that were part of the layoffs.
I’m going to repeat myself so you can fully comprehend it again. The LA Times is laying off 115 people.
I’m sure Trey is the bad guy though…
The Union that represents the LA Times but out this statement.
When are the rest of you people going to wake up? You can keep taking the cookie-cutter approach. It won’t work. The longer media networks stick with what they’re doing, the faster they will continue to die. It is what it is. Vendetta Sports Media is the future of this industry. The sooner the rest of you accept that the better off everyone else will be.
Anybody that was fired by the LA Times, feel free to contact me if you’re looking for work. Feel free to send those people my way. I can’t promise they’re talented enough to fit our culture but I’m open to speaking to all of them. It’s either that or trying to land at another platform to ultimately end up getting fired again. The choice is theirs.
