Logan Paul, one of the biggest media stars in the world, has signed a contract with WWE, he announced in a tweet on Thursday.
Paul made his professional wrestling debut at WrestleMania 38. Paul surprised a lot of people for how well he was prepared. He teamed up with The Miz, but the latter turned on him after the match. This is the first time we have heard from him since. After a visit at the company’s headquarters, Paul signed with WWE.
Paul’s contract is reportedly for “multiple events.” It seems like he is going to be treated as a normal wrestler, working weekly shows and the premium live events that fit the current storyline. The amount is unclear, but we will update as we get word.
WWE has been involving a decent amount of celebrities as of late, but Paul has been one of the best, performance-wise. Paul does have some controversy in his past, but he seems to have learned from it. Whether you like him or not, this is a huge move for WWE. Paul is a megastar outside of the WWE and already has heat on him from the fans. This was a smart business decision for WWE. Paul was impressive at WrestleMania 38, so it will be interesting to see how much he progresses. I think he has a chance to do something noteworthy for WWE. It seems like he has the will to get better, which is a good thing. Only time will tell to see if this was a good signing or not.
