Lil Tay confirms she is okay: ‘I’m not dead’

After rumors and questions arose Wednesday regarding the passing of young rapper Lil Tay, they have finally been answered. The teenager has confirmed she is okay, saying, “I’m not dead.”

Tay seemed to have shocked the internet for one last time yesterday, with rumors claiming she had passed away. But Tay wasn’t the only one in her family that had questions surrounding them if they were okay. Her older brother, Jason, had rumors surrounding his apparent death suddenly as well.

Regarding her death, Tay spilled it all: her feelings, details, and more.

“I want to make it clear that my brother and I are safe and alive, but I’m completely heartbroken, and struggling to even find the right words to say. It’s been a very traumatizing 24 hours. All day yesterday, I was bombarded with endless heartbreaking and tearful phone calls from loved ones all while trying to sort out this mess.

“My Instagram account was compromised by a 3rd party and used to spread jarring misinformation and rumors regarding me, to the point that even my name was wrong. My legal name is Tay Tian, not ‘Claire Hope.'”

Rumors surrounded the young girl yesterday after a sudden return to social media caught the world by storm. On her Instagram, Tay’s parents released a chilling statement regarding her death.

“It is with a heavy heart that we share the devastating news of our beloved Claire’s sudden and tragic passing. We have no words to express the unbearable loss and indescribable pain. This outcome was entirely unexpected, and has left us all in shock. Her brother’s passing adds an even more unimaginable depth to our grief. During this time of immense sorrow, we kindly ask for privacy as we grieve this overwhelming loss, as the circumstances surrounding Claire and her brother’s passing are still under investigation.

“Claire will forever remain in our hearts, her absence leaving an irreplaceable void that will be felt by all who knew and loved her.”

This news comes to shock no one, I’m sure. The question marks around this case seemed to falsify it from the start. First, her brother suddenly passes away at 21-years-old with no information, and now Tay does as well. As I said in the first post, this seems awfully sketchy. Especially if their dad was allegedly assaulting Tay mentally and physically. This could all be a parenting situation, kind of like Baby Gronk’s dad.

Obviously, this all should be taken seriously. I am glad Tay is okay and I hope the real information comes out soon.
