LeBron James Stars Next to Rick & Morty in New Fighting Game

MultiVersus, a new fighting game on the market, is making waves in the gaming community. The game was created by Player First Games, and it can be played in single-player mode and multiplayer mode. It is a free-to-play crossover fighting game that is made up of characters from the Warner Bros. catalog. The game possesses an awesome list of characters and it just got better with the new additions of LeBron James and Rick & Morty.

Above is James’ character reveal video that shows off some gameplay as well as a lot of his moves. MultiVersus just released their Open Beta in July 2022, so players have been happily trying out all the fresh characters on the many different maps. One of the reasons for the game’s success is not only the variety of characters, but that they all have their own specific move list. It appears LeBron is literally slamming into the game, as he has a powerful dunking move which bounces opponents sky-high. Also, he has an effective passing move to bounce the ball off enemies and it seems that he can even pass the ball to teammates which is a fun addition to a fighting game. 

LeBron will be available on July 26 and Rick & Morty will be available in Season 1.

It will be interesting to see if MultiVersus can create some competition in the crossover fighting game world as Super Smash Bros remains the top dog. MultiVersus has a good roster of characters, and the gameplay is exciting so it would seem that they are on the right path. MultiVersus is available on Steam for PC, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. Gamers can enjoy the new game and content as they go into battle with LeBron James and Rick & Morty.

Notable Characters In MultiVersus

The crossover fighting game has a wide variety of characters from multiple different Warner Bros. properties. It has its fair share of powerful superheroes such as Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, and even Harley Quinn. 

The game has a mix of old iconic cartoon characters and some popular modern cartoon characters. Gamers can play as classic characters such as Tom and Jerry, Bugs Bunny, Shaggy, and Velma. However, there are also more recent characters like Finn The Human, Jake The Dog, and Steven Universe which means that a lot of different ages can find characters they love.
