Are Kyler Murray And Trae Young The Same Person?

The other day I was thinking about NBA superstars and who they would be if they were a franchise quarterback in the NFL. I’ve already made my feelings well-known about Lamar Jackson being the equivalent of Rudy Gobert. This time I got another one. This one may be actually the best comp of all. What if Kyler Murray and Trae Young are the same person?

The similarities here just jump off the page.

• Both attended the University of Oklahoma.
• Both were born in the state of Texas.
• Both are considered undersized. Murray is the shortest starting quarterback in the league. Young is 6-foot-1 but only 160 pounds.
• Both are in the middle of a coaching crisis’. Nate McMillan is a villain now and so is Kliff Kingsbury.
• Both play for bird teams while wearing the primary color red for their respective team.
• Both has great pure athletic traits to make up for their size. Young is having a bad shooting season but we all know the circus shots he’s made in the past.
• Both have detractors within their own organizations. Both are viewed as selfish and teammates aren’t exactly willing to ride and die with either play.

The Hawks Should Trade Trae Young

Take a second to think about it. Both the Hawks and Cardinals feel sort of stuck. Two undersized talents with selfish prickly personalties. Both are fun to watch. Neither will win a championship. Are they the same person just in a different sport? That’s for you to be the judge of.
