Kyle Filipowski Groomed By Mormon Fiancee, Family Alleges on Twitter

Former Duke forward Kyle Filipowski was invited to the green room of the 2024 NBA Draft. After going undrafted in the first round, a video circulated of Filipowski leaving the draft with his fiancee. That’s when things started to get weird. Jonathan Givony went on The Lowe Post and offered an explanation for Filipowski’s slide, throwing in a detail that something was going on with the former Blue Devil’s betrothed, Caitlin Hutchison. Now Kyle’s older brother Daniel and mother Becky are alleging on social media that Kyle has been groomed by his Mormon fiancee and completely cut off his family.

First, Daniel Filipowski replied to The Lowe Post clip, claiming that things have been swept under the rug for two years.

He went on to say that he has been trying to send details to Givony and the story has to do with “Mormon grooming and brainwashing.”

At some point, Kyle’s mother Becky jumped into the fray. She alleges Kyle’s 28-year-old fiancee has been planning this for three years. This “plan” was set into motion when Kyle was still in high school.

Further research indicates that Kyle may have gone to his high school prom with Caitlin when she was years out of college already. Kyle proposed to her back in April.

Finally, Daniel recently posted that Kyle’s fiancee forced Kyle to cut off his family two years ago with an email telling them goodbye. Kyle’s family was conspicuously absent from the draft.

No sir..you got it backwards. She forced him to cut us off from his life almost two years ago. Sent us an email and everything. Basically the official “goodbye letter”

The sick irony of the situation is that the Utah Jazz selected Kyle Filipowski with the No. 32 overall pick. Salt Lake City is the worldwide headquarters of the LDS Church.
