Keon Coleman: The Ultimate Fruit Snacks Stealer?

The 2025 NFL Scouting Combine just ended. I know this is an unnecessary plug but if you haven’t seen my draft notes from the event, make sure to do that. Before we get to this story on Keon Coleman, I’ll direct you to the biggest winners and losers where you can find everything you need to know.

Okay, back to the real topic at hand. On a recent podcast appearance, Keon Coleman told a wild story about how teams got mad at him for helping himself to fruit snacks during Combine interviews.

“Teams mad I’m eating fruit snacks,” Coleman said to Carmelo Anthony, Kazeem Famuyide and Monica McNutt on the 7pm in Brooklyn podcast. “I’m like, ‘I’m hungry.’ I’m listening, can I grab a little fruit snacks every now and then? Y’all got all the snacks in here. That’s just for show? … If you ain’t gonna draft me over some fruit snacks!”

Coleman, 21, has emerged as quite the character. His post draft interviews were hilarious. If you want to read the embed feel free but I’m a believer in Coleman and we knew his development would take some time after not being the most polished route runner in the world.

Still, Coleman showed promise as a rookie hauling in 29 receptions in 13 games for 556 yards and four touchdowns averaging 19.2 yards per catch. A bright future should be on the horizon as long as Coleman continues to develop and the Bills sure need him to be that dude.
