Justin Herbert Out For Remainder Of 2023-24 NFL Season After Surgery
We have seen the last of Justin Herbert in regards to the 2023-24 NFL Season. The Chargers will have to play the remainder of the season without the former Oregon signal caller. Herbert injured his finger this past week and will have to undergo season-ending surgery to fix it.
The Chargers team account was the first to reveal the news. Herbert is being placed on injured reserve after opting for surgery to fix his finger.
Herbert, 25, will finish his fourth season with a 20 to 7 TD to INT ratio while completing a touch over 65% of his throws. Up until this point, Herbert has made 62 straight starts and has never missed a game. Herbert also signed a mega contract extension prior to the season so that part has been taken care of.
Easton Stick is expected to replace Herbert for the rest of the season. The former North Dakota State product has never started an NFL game before.
Two things I want to mention quickly:
If you lost Herbert in fantasy, I’m not sure you can trust Stick to just replace him. I have no idea what you do in that department. Good luck if you’re still alive in fantasy.
It’s only a matter of time before Brandon Staley loses his job. That guy is such a clown. Something we went over in a lengthy video you can check out. It’s a matter of if Tom Telesco is getting canned along with him.
