Under Maintenance
We deeply apologize for interrupting your reading but Vendetta is currently undergoing some important maintenance! You may experience some layout shifts, slow loading times and dififculties in navigating.
You see, but do you also observe? It’s not hard to read between the lines if you’re paying attention. Kyle Monangai is very much going to be a thing in Chicago.
The Bears went from pissed off they got snipped on draft day and desperately seeking a veteran at running back.
Despite being reportedly anxious to add help at RB, they totally passed on the chance to sign Nick Chubb and JK Dobbins. Those two respectively signed with Houston (link) and Denver (link).
So what changed…
MONANGAI!!!
Soooo again. Let’s review what really happened here.
Maybe Ben Johnson knows what he has…
Kyle Monangai, the same back from Rutgers the media barely talked about, is earning major praise from Chicago’s new head coach. It’s not just lip service either. He’s already impressed enough to shift the team’s offseason plan.
While other rookies are “competing for touches,” Monangai might already be penciled into a real role.
And if you watched the tape?
It shouldn’t surprise you one bit.
And no, it’s not because Roschon Johnson suddenly woke up and figured out how to play. He still sucks.
You were warned. You still have time to react accordingly.
The show must go on.
