Jordan Travis said one of the most insane things I’ve ever heard and I can’t let it go. Let’s not even waste time and just get right to the quote.
“I wish my leg broke earlier in the season.”
WTF!!!
We do get how insane this is, right? The only thing that’s obvious is that Florida State’s quarterback needs to learn the lesson of the Chinese Farmer.
If Travis was wise, he would say maybe. Wishing that he broke his leg earlier in the season might be the single most insane thing I’ve ever heard in my life.
Is Florida State still undefeated if Travis breaks his leg in the game against Clemson? Maybe.
Is Florida State still undefeated if Travis breaks his leg against LSU? Maybe.
Is Florida State still undefeated if Travis breaks his leg against Duke? Maybe.
Instead of crying and complaining about what happened, maybe Travis should be thankful that things worked out the way that they did. Instead, he put out a lot of good tape this year and proved that he’s really valuable to this team. Do we really think Florida State survives an undefeated season when they limped across the finish line barely beating the poo poo platter of Florida and Louisville?
Maybe Travis broke his leg when he should have. Because that’s the way the universe wanted it to be. To act like the timing of breaking your leg 100% would have changed the outcome of the season in a positive way is so foolish that you can’t even make it up.
Dear, Jordan Travis. Please watch the lesson of the Chinese Farmer so you stop sounding like a crazy person. It will change your life.
