Jey Uso officially leaves The Bloodline; calls out Roman Reigns

The 2023 WWE Royal Rumble was one for the ages. We saw Cody Rhodes and Rhea Ripley each win their Royal Rumble matches to earn a spot in the main event of WWE WrestleMania. Usually, the WWE Royal Rumble match winners are all anybody can talk about following the event. This year was different, as we saw the turning point of what could be heralded as the best WWE storyline in over a decade.

We saw Sami Zayn reach his limit with Roman Reigns. He was handed a chair by Reigns to attack Kevin Owens. Zayn ultimately used the chair on Reigns, officially ending his membership in The Bloodline. The bigger surprise happened just a few minutes later, when Uso walked out on his own family, rather than stay to participate in the attacks on Owens and Zayn. This was an extremely emotional moment for everyone involved, including Uso was in tears as he was walking up the ramp.

The next day, all anybody could talk about was what this means for Uso. Through an Instagram post from Jey himself, it looks like he is officially done with The Bloodline.

This could only lead one to believe he is done taking orders from Reigns. Zayn and Uso share something in the fact that they have defied Reigns. It makes sense for Uso to be so upset, he ended up forming a special bond with Zayn despite all his efforts not to and that was blown up by Reigns because Zayn refused to hit a damaged defenseless Owens.

Uso also posted on his Instagram story seemingly challenging Reigns.

Jey Uso and Roman Reigns battled before early on in his WWE Universal Championship run. The storyline went over greatly with the WWE universe, even earning Uso the nickname “Main Event Jey.” He really established himself as a top-tier singles competitor during that feud.

This could lead to him being the one to dethrone Reigns. That is, unless this is all a work in order to trick Sami Zayn. If that is the case, we are likely leading to a feud between The Usos and a reunited Owens and Zayn.

Either way, The Bloodline has been the best thing in wrestling and WWE as a whole for over a year now, and the culmination of it is going to be fantastic.
